Founded in 2025 by Genevieve Williams, GW Contemporary is a curator-led contemporary art gallery based in Laguna Beach, California. Located directly opposite the Laguna Art Museum, the gallery brings an international perspective to Laguna Beach’s historically coastal-leaning arts landscape.
Drawing on Williams’ dual roots in Sydney and Southern California, GW Contemporary presents artists from Australia, California, and beyond, with a program spanning painting, sculpture, photography, and installation. The gallery places particular emphasis on material-driven abstraction and Light & Space–influenced practices.
In addition to its exhibition program—comprising solo exhibitions, group shows, and collaborative activations—GW Contemporary offers tailored advisory and project-based services for private and commercial clients. With curatorial rigor and creative exchange at its core, the gallery fosters meaningful relationships between artists, spaces, and audiences.
