Will Cooke (b. 1989, Sydney) is an Australian artist whose practice has been commissioned by internationally recognised institutions including Tiffany & Co. and the City of Sydney. His public mural As One Door Closes, Another Opens was selected as a finalist for the Sir John Sulman Prize at the Art Gallery of New South Wales, and his work has recently been further recognised through a major architectural commission for Deloitte’s headquarters at Sydney’s Circular Quay Tower, realised in collaboration with Hassell Studio.

Cooke has exhibited widely throughout Australia and internationally, with works held in public and private collections worldwide. His debut solo exhibition in the United States opens at GW Contemporary in February 2026, followed by a solo presentation at Forwart Gallery, Belgium, in June 2026—marking a pivotal moment of international expansion within his practice.

Known for his reductive geometric paintings and refined material sensitivity across aluminium, paper, and light, Cooke distills the language of industrial production and architectural form into works that activate reflected light through finely calibrated surfaces. Drawing inspiration from the spatial philosophy of Japanese architect Tadao Ando, his works explore dualities of solid and void, restraint and transcendence—unfolding slowly over time and rewarding sustained engagement.
