Line Busch (b. 1979) is a Danish visual artist based in Copenhagen whose multidisciplinary practice explores transformation, perception, and optical illusion. Working across abstract painting, sculptural wall works, and ceramics, she is best known for hand-cut and twisted canvases layered with carefully graduated color. These dimensional surfaces shift with changes in light and viewpoint, creating a kinetic experience that encourages the viewer to move around each work. Busch balances methodical precision with the subtle irregularities of the handmade, allowing structure and spontaneity to coexist. A graduate of Aarhus Art Academy, her work has been exhibited internationally throughout Europe and North America. Her commissioned works can also be found in prominent collections and settings, including Hotel d’Angleterre and The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection.
